Although this year’s events are online (Facebook and Zoom) they cover 3 days and it is all free:

On March 6th, 2021 join Transition Horsham’s first online Seedy Saturday and the launch of the new Horsham District Seed Circle!

Although you won’t be able to swap seeds in person, you’ll be able to share experiences of growing vegetables, fruit and flowers. Click here to find out all the information and to sign up to to the sessions!


Colouring Competition to Win a Growing Kit – Seeds, compost, seed tray/pots from Horsham Scouts and Peat Free Plants – just print and colour in our original picture (Seedy Saturday Horsham Scouts Colouring Competition.pdf1) that reminds us of the sustainability of Peat Free Planting and email to by 15th March. Entries open to everyone.

Ellen Corke from Prenplants will be the judge and award the prize. Find out more about why Peat Free.

And – is the Spring Shoots fun Facebook photography competition for you and your family? There will be two winners – one under 18 and one for 18+. There must be no people in the photos – but wildlife, pets, plants, gardens and parks are all very welcome. Sophie Ward of Sophie Ward Photography will judge the winning entries. The prize is a lesson with Sophie.
