Gone Home – John Moynihan

Date: 23rd Feb 2021 Author: Chris Styles

It is with great sadness that we share news of the passing of John Moynihan, on the 19th February 2021.

John was a great supporter of Horsham Scouts and was instrumental in the development of our incredible Campsite, Beacon Hill, where he helped construct the pavilion hut known today as ‘Gummy’s’. John was previously a Cub Scout Leader with 4th Horsham Scout Group and has been a warden at the campsite for over 40 years and in that time has looked after the site for the benefit of thousands of young people.

John will be sadly missed.
