Face-to-Face Adventures

Date: 9th Jun 2021 Author: Chris Styles

As we start the second half of the summer term, we can look back at all the great things our young people have been up to since they’ve been back face-to-face!

1st Roffey Scouts went mountain biking in St Leonards Forest in the pouring rain. Youngster, leaders and parent helpers all had a great time as you can see from the photo!

4th Horsham Scouts took part in Jamboree on the Trail and walked 12 kilometres around St Leonards Forest!

1st Southwater Beavers made the news when they went litter picking around Southwater Country Park!

2nd Horsham Scout Group obtained a grant from Horsham District Council to install a new compost bin and water butt in an effort to save water and recycle more waste!

Nature and the outdoors are languages that can be learned. Once you identify a beech tree, tie a clove hitch or cook a simple meal over a fire that you’ve built yourself, you’ll never forget it.'
