Camp@Home

Join the District Youth Commissioners for a weekend full of activities in our District-wide Camp@Home on 27th – 28th March 2021!

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the weekend! If you ordered a badge, these will be delivered to your group after Easter.

The camp is open to all members of all ages, parents, carers and siblings so the whole family can get involved with the various activities held throughout the camp.
Whether you pitch a tent, hang a hammock or build a den, inside or out, the choice is yours!

Register each participant for a separate ticket using the link below. Registration is completely free but there is the option of buying our Camp@Home badge for £1.50. To do this, select “Camp@Home – with 1 badge” ticket
when registering. (It’s one badge per ticket, and badges will be delivered to your Group Scout Leader after the camp for distribution.)

Overview

Staring with a quick zoom call on Saturday morning, we’ll open the camp together before giving you plenty of time to complete over 50 activities and challenges. All of the activities are optional, so you can pick and choose your favourites or try to complete them all! The full list of activities will be released before the camp so you can plan and prepare your weekend.

Throughout the weekend, we’ll be running quick 10-45 minute Zoom sessions for participants to join. Some of these will be for us to explain an activity and others will be times for us to check in on how everyones doing.
We know not everyone is comfortable on zoom, that’s why we’ve aimed to keep our time on it short and sweet. There’s no need to have your camera on if you don’t want to. Just sit back and listen to our little updates.

Check out the information pack containing a full camp schedule, recipes and other details you might need. Our challenge list shows all of the activities you could take part in and and what what time to do them. Once you’ve registered, we’ll send out the zoom links and passwords.
