Financial, legal and technical expertise are all needed occasionally by Scout Groups and District. If you have skills or expertise in these areas, but not the time to make a regular contribution to Scouting, you can still make a difference by offering help on an adhoc basis.
These roles do not require training nor involve working directly with scouts.
If you are able to offer your help in this way, please e-mail Peter Scofield – District Commissioner Horsham Scouts.
And lastly but by no means least, if you find any spare time, you can support Scouting in Horsham by making a donation.
As a registered charity, Scouting relies on donations and the subscriptions paid by scouts themselves to fund adventurous and challenging activities. We aim to include young people from all economic backgrounds in all of our activities and charitable donations enable us to achieve that aim.
Scouting does not receive funds from national or local government for the everyday activities provided to our members by adults who are all volunteers.
If you would like to make a donation, please e-mail Peter Scofield – District Commissioner Horsham Scouts.
